The brief to the Neumode Design team for the internal renovation of this bed-sit was “mid-century”. The bathroom retains the original mosaic floor tiles and pan with new wall tiles a nod to the originals. The kitchen is small but functional. The timber veneer cabinetry and green splashback tiles deliver interest and warmth in the space. The glass door overhead cupboard allows the window light to be shared to other areas. Mural wallpaper provides depth and a little excitement to the bed wall. The client supplied the original timber screening which brings it all together.
