In this spectacularly renovated home Neumode Design & Construction has transformed this Victorian terrace into a contemporary two bedroom home.
Being one of a series of Victorian terrace houses with limited access, it was important to retain the character of the original building to ensure it blended with its neighbours while still allowing for unique design. A second storey extension provided the much desired space. The original floorplan was altered to separate the living area from the bedrooms, producing a long hallway that creates a feeling of freshness and a sensation of greater space.
A polished timber staircase with stainless steel balustrade leads down to the open plan kitchen and family room. The first floor is an open plan study area with a cathedral ceiling that allows sunlight to flood the room. The house is the ultimate inner city dwelling.
